$200 towards $500

What happens when a child loses a parent to a work-related fatality? How do families cope with a dramatic decrease in income because Mom or Dad cannot return to work due to an injury? In many cases, pursuing higher education seems unattainable.

Kids’ Chance of Illinois is the state chapter of a national organization that awards college scholarships to kids whose parents have either been killed or seriously injured in compensable work-related accidents.

I have been involved with Kids' Chance for 3 years now and have seen and heard firsthand how the scholarships awarded have changed the lives of students and their families. These students are bright, passionate, and driven.

As a child of two hardworking blue-collar parents myself, I was fortunate enough to never have one of their work injuries become a life-altering event, but the possibility was always there.

These students deserve a chance to pursue the education their parents envisioned for them. No student should be denied the opportunity to pursue education due to a lack of finances.

That's why I created a fundraiser to support Kids' Chance Incorporated of Illinois. Any little bit helps and goes directly to scholarships!

I will be fundraising whole month of November and end on Giving Tuesday (November 30th)!
