Season of Giving: Help children of workers seriously or fatally injured on the job educational opportunities!
Join me and help make a difference!
We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
What happens when a child loses a parent in a work-related fatality? How do families cope with a dramatic decrease in income because Mom or Dad cannot return to work due to an injury? In many cases, pursuing higher education seems unattainable. No child should be denied the opportunity to pursue education due to a lack of finances.
Kids' Chance of Illinois is the state chapter of a national organization that awards college scholarships to kids whose parents have either been killed or seriously injured in work-related accidents.
My first job out of college was managing Workers' Compensation claims at the Ford plant in Lorain, Ohio and I have remained committed to this industry for over thirty years. I serve on both the Illinois Kids Chance Board and a Kids Chance of America national fundraising committee. This charity is so closely tied to my life's work and passion for helping people.
Join me in supporting real change. Your contribution will make a difference in the life of a child whose educational opportunities have been dramatically limited because of a serious or fatal work-related injury to a parent or guardian.
Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal
for Kids 'Chance Incorporated of Illinois!
I will be fundraising the whole month of November and end on Giving Tuesday, November 30th!
