Season of Giving: Help children of workers seriously or fatally injured on the job educational opportunities!

Have you ever thought about what happens when a child loses a parent in a work-related fatality? How do families cope with a dramatic decrease in income because Mom or Dad cannot return to work due to an injury?

Kids' Chance of Illinois is the state chapter of a national organization that awards college scholarships to kids whose parents have either been killed or seriously injured in work-related accidents.

I have been a part of Kids" Chance of Illinois since 2012. It is heart-warming to reach out and mentor these individuals that have had such a rough start to their young adult lives. Giving them a chance at higher education that they may not have otherwise realized is a remarkable feeling.

That's why I created a fundraiser to support Kids' Chance of Illinois and our season of giving campaign. Your contribution will make a difference in the life of a child. Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Kids 'Chance Incorporated of Illinois!
